How to Change favicon for Staff interface and OPAC in Koha

Favicon is the identity of the website which appears in the URL tab. It is a small image which the suffix of the website name. The default koha favicon is in the below picture. Let's know how to change the favicon.

Click here to create a favicon with the favicon generator. Download it with the .ico extension(e.g. favicon.ico) and save it in the home folder.

Open the terminal and run the below command in order to copy the favicon image in /usr/share/koha/opac/htdocs folder

sudo cp favicon.ico /usr/share/koha/opac/htdocs

Now go to the Koha administration→Global system Preferences and search for 'favicon' and put the following URL of favicon for both Koha OPAC and Koha Staff client.

Your  KohaOPAC IP/favicon.ico

Now refresh or open the koha staff Interface and OPAC to see the favicon.
